Can you cater an event at a private residence?

Yes. We regularly serve events at private homes as well as venues and other gathering spaces. Before preparing a proposal, our team may need additional information about access, available workspace, parking, and any property-specific requirements.
Can I book bar service by itself?

Yes. Bar service does not have to be paired with catering. We can help you select an appropriate beverage offering and determine the staffing needed for your guest count and event format.
Can the full-service menu be customized?

Our published menus provide a starting point, but your final selections can draw from different menu sections and styles of service. Tell us what you enjoy, how you envision the event, and whether there is anything specific you would like us to consider.
How do you handle allergies and dietary needs?

Please provide allergy and dietary information as early as possible. Our culinary team will review the selected menu and explain where adjustments can be made or an alternate dish may be recommended.
What determines the cost of a full-service private event?

Pricing is shaped by the menu, number of guests, location, service format, staffing, beverage selections, and the logistics of the event. Once those details are established, we can create a proposal that reflects the celebration you are planning.
When should I begin planning?

We encourage you to reach out once you have a date, approximate guest count, and general idea of the event. Weekends and popular seasonal dates tend to fill first, particularly for gatherings that require a larger service team.
Provisions availability and ordering deadlines can be viewed directly through the online ordering platform.
What areas do you serve?

Rosemary & Rye caters private events across Charleston and the surrounding Lowcountry, including Mount Pleasant, North Charleston, Summerville, Isle of Palms, Sullivan’s Island, Kiawah Island, and Folly Beach.
Events outside our usual service area may also be considered. Travel and logistical costs will depend on the location and what is needed to serve the event.
