4 Ingredient White Bean Hummus

A quick and colorful 4 ingredient white bean hummus to brighten anyone’s day! Try it with crackers, veggies, toast, and much more!!

  • 1 can cannellini beans (white kidney beans, navy beans, or butter beans work too)
  • Salt
  • Lemon juice
  • 2 tsp beet powder


  1. In a blender, blend together beans and beet powder until smooth. Add 1 tsp of water to start the blending process if the mixture is too dry.
  2. Add salt and lemon juice to taste and blend thoroughly.
  3. Serve with crackers, veggies, or spread on toast for a delightful and colorful snack!


The beet powder gives the hummus a nice pink color and packs additional nutrients. Beet powder can be found at your local grocery store (such as Alfalfa’s, Whole Foods, Sprouts, HEB, etc.) in the bulk spice area or the “health foods” area.
